Natureplex is a privately held OTC pharmaceutical manufacturing company that was first started in 2001 and has been growing exponentially each year. We offer our own label as well as private label and contract packaging of enemas, feminine hygiene products, over-the-counter medications, and personal care products. We currently have two locations, one in Olive Branch, MS just a few miles from Memphis, TN and a location in Memphis, TN. We are rapidly growing which means there are opportunities for advancement. We currently have an opening for an Engineering Technician, to work between the Olive Branch, MS and Memphis, TN facilitates.

Requirements:

Summary

Responsible for supporting technical and highly automated OTC pharmaceutical compounding, filling, and packing lines.

Essential Functions

· Troubleshooting equipment

· Working with engineering/maintenance staff to implement process improvements

· Working with equipment vendors to become on-site expert on process equipment

· Creating engineering documents and other activities

· Superior analytical and creative problem-solving skills

· Lead the execution of equipment validations

· Apply the knowledge of engineering concepts to troubleshoot processes, improve processes, and participate in design decisions

Work Environment

Equipment Used and Physical Demands

· Prolonged standing

· Require walking, standing, climbing, balance, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling

· Require sitting and use hands to finger, handle, feel

· Frequently required to reach with hands, and arms; talk or hear

· Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus

Expected Hours of Work

· Monday – Friday, Saturdays as needed

Travel

· Travel between Olive Branch, MS and Memphis facilities

Required Education and Experience

· 1 – 3 years in an engineering, controls or other closely related technical role

· 1 – 3 years with high-speed packaging equipment

· 1 – 3 years working with automated equipment in trouble shooting and/or process improvement capacity

· 1 – 3 years’ troubleshooting PL C-controlled equipment

· 1 – 3 years with programming and troubleshooting variable speed drives

· Robotics experience preferred

· Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings

· Technical School training or certificate preferred, work experience will be considered in lieu of Technical School

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

· Machine vision systems a plus

· FDA manufacturing a plus

· Technical training or hands-on equivalent experience
