We are currently seeking experienced Full-Time Payroll Specialist to join our team. The Payroll Specialist will facilitate and process payroll for the company. They will also perform a variety of administrative support work for the HR department. This role will need to be reliable, detailed-oriented, organized, and motivated to complete tasks in a timely manner. The selected candidate will report directly to the Human Resources Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll
    1. Daily check in of payroll
    2. Verify payroll for accuracy
    3. Follow up on missing timesheets
  • Set up & maintain deductions
  • Process pay & status changes
  • Process wage garnishments
  • Process working interview checks
  • Maintain payroll records electronically
  • Process time off requests and manage time off calendar
  • Compiles data for payroll reporting – time off and overtime reports
    1. Provides weekly & monthly reporting to managers
  • Subject matter expert on all things ADP
  • General administrative support to the HR departments
    1. Assisting with onboarding
    2. Entering new hires in ADP

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • 3+ year of experience with payroll processing & HR preferred.
  • Proficient working in ADP Workforce Now.
  • Associate’s degree preferred, or equivalent years of experience in Payroll/HR Field.
  • Works independently with a sense of urgency and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accurate, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Able to prioritize tasks, deal effectively with competing and changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
