SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing and assisting in the comprehensive management of human resources within the this group companies. This role involves leading HR operations aligned with corporate strategies and initiatives, encompassing payroll, benefits administration, recruitment, employment policies, and performance management. The primary objective is to foster a positive and productive work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates high-performing employees. Additionally, the role requires understanding global mobility issues such as visas, International Social Security Agreements, gross-up, tax equalization, relocation, and arrangements with affiliate companies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Director of Human Resources, you will oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of the HR department, aligning departmental goals with the company's vision and corporate strategies. You will collaborate closely with senior management and department heads to address HR-related challenges, enhance employee development, and implement effective solutions. Your responsibilities include managing HR processes such as performance management, hiring, policies, and payroll administration, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and fostering a productive work environment. Additionally, you will supervise HR personnel, providing guidance and ensuring high standards of work quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop short-term and long-term goals for the HR department, integrating company vision and strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to diagnose and address HR issues, and implement plans for employee development.
  • Lead HR projects including development of SOPs to streamline operations.
  • Innovate processes to improve efficiency and communication across the organization.
  • Manage HR budgets and oversee payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with health insurance, retirement plans, and legal regulations.
  • Monitor and gather regulatory updates, ensuring that all personnel matters (such as policies, notices, and filings) comply with federal, state, and local legislation.
  • Review and enforce employee handbook and HR policies.
  • Oversee performance management processes and recommend compensation adjustments.
  • Manage talent acquisition and employee separation processes.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and ensure legal compliance.
  • Coordinate expatriate payroll allocation with the Administration Manager.
  • Supervise HR personnel, ensuring quality and accuracy of their work.
  • Evaluate employee job performance against quality standards and proper procedures, initiating training as needed to correct errors or issues identified during performance evaluations.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster open communication with personnel, functions, and departments to enhance organizational operations and collaboration.
  • Keep supervisor informed of progress and status updates through regular communication.
  • Stay current with industry trends and compliance issues relevant to your responsibilities by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and building professional networks.
  • Adhere to high ethical standards, maintain professional conduct, and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Fulfill additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.
