Our Saginaw, MI location is currently looking for an experienced Experienced Water & Fire Restoration Technician to join our rapidly growing team. Our ideal Water & Fire Restoration Technician candidate will enjoy meeting new people and take pride in their work. They will have a passion to serve our customers in their time of need, and work to restore their home or business by providing a high-level customer experience. • Respond to residential and commercial properties affected by water or fire damage
• Provide EXCELLENT customer service
• Perform Mitigation services to IICRC standards
• Water extraction, light demolition, use of hand tools and power tools
• Educate customers on the benefits of additional services Modernistic can offer
• Follow documentation procedures/requirements (paper & electronic)
• Follow all safety practices and industry standards at facility and job sites
• Stock your vehicle with equipment and supplies each day while maintaining its cleanliness & organization

• 1+ year of experience required in the Restoration industry (Mitigation, Fire & Mold Remediation)
• Valid Michigan driver's license and good driving record
• Chauffeur's License & DOT Certification are a plus
• Ability to pass a drug screen & background check
• Ability to move and lift 50 lbs. or more
• Exceptional communication skills
• Friendly, cooperative, and positive attitude
• Dependable with reliable transportation
• IICRC certifications are a plus
