We are seeking a creative, versatile and detail-oriented Proposal Writer & Content Specialist to join our team. This role will be pivotal in crafting compelling proposals, creating engaging pitch decks, and producing high-quality copy for various channels including blogs, marketing collateral, and white papers. The ideal candidate is a Swiss army knife – adaptable, resourceful, and eager to dive into different tasks with enthusiasm. An interest and willingness in developing a deep understanding of privacy, compliance, and tech enablement topics is essential for success in this position.
Joining a small but dynamic marketing team and reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, this role involves close collaboration with LevelUP’s marketing, delivery, and sales teams. Acting as a crucial link, this role ensures cohesive and effective messaging across various channels, drives momentum, and provides essential project management support on a variety of initiatives.
Proposal Writing:
- Develop, write, and edit proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and other solicitations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts to gather information and distill complex concepts into clear, concise, and compelling content that meets client requirements.
- Manage proposal timelines and ensure timely delivery of high-quality submissions.
Copywriting & Design:
- Write and edit content for various channels including blogs, white papers, case studies, marketing collateral, and social posts.
- Ensure all written materials align with the company's brand voice and messaging guidelines.
Marketing Support:
- Assist in the development of marketing campaigns and materials.
- Collaborate with designers to create visually engaging content paired with compelling & strategic copy - including but not limited to: pitch decks, demand generation pieces, materials for our partner network, and internal stakeholder briefings.
- Help maintain and update the company's website content.
Subject Matter Expertise Development:
- Cultivate a strong understanding of privacy, compliance, and tech enablement to produce informed and authoritative content.
- Proactively conduct research and attend trainings to drive content development. Staying update to date on industry trends, news and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in proposal writing, copywriting, and creating pitch decks.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with MS Suite, project management and CRM software, and CMS platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and take on diverse tasks.
- Interest in developing expertise in privacy, compliance, and tech enablement topics.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a consulting firm or a similar environment.
- Knowledge of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with technical writing and the ability to simplify complex information for a broad audience.
