We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Coordinator - Requirements Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, managing, and validating the requirements necessary to successfully meet end-user needs. You will work closely across the services, key government stakeholders, project managers, and business analysts to ensure the products meet all business needs and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in requirements management, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and an understanding of the software development lifecycle.

This role will work closely with client team members, government leaders, vendors, and subcontractors in support of the JOMIS program.  


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize software requirements.
  • Manage the requirements intake process and translate feedback from customer to determine if items are new requirements, enhancements, or bugs.
  • Document requirements in a clear, concise, and complete way.
  • Ensure requirements are clearly communicated and understood by development teams.
  • Maintain a well-organized and up-to-date backlog of requirements in JIRA or other relevant tools.
  • Assist in translating business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
  • Ensure traceability of requirements through the development lifecycle.
  • Produce and maintain requirement traceability documents
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across services, government leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between services and development teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Manage, document, and communicate requirements changes throughout the program lifecycle to ensure all parties are aligned on updates and implications.
  • Communicate progress, impediments, and changes to the broader organization effectively.
  • Develop and instantiate the requirements management processes and governance.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand and address their needs and feedback.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and adaptability within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Healthcare IT, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Five to eight years of proven experience in program management, particularly within Operational Medicine and Healthcare IT software development.
  • Extensive experience in gathering, writing, and prioritizing requirements.
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies and tools, particularly JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to understand complex technical topics.
  • Exceptional facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to navigate and manage complex stakeholder ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in developing and presenting project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
  • Proficiency in product management tooling (Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.)
  • Experience in data management and DevSecOps.
  • Experience working in a government environment, particularly with the Department of Defense.
  • Ability to obtain a government-issued CAC (Common Access Card).
