Overview:

LEMOINE is seeking an Emergency Response Resource Supervisor to manage and oversee the allocation and distribution of resources during disaster recovery operations. This role is critical in ensuring that personnel, equipment, and supplies are efficiently utilized to support response efforts. The Resource Supervisor will work closely with the entire disaster recovery team, ensuring that resources are available and properly managed to meet the demands of the situation.

Please note: Disaster Response Positions are contingent on storm events and will be activated only when a storm hits the designated area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the allocation and distribution of all resources, including personnel, equipment, and supplies, during disaster response operations.
  • Coordinate with logistical staging managers, team leaders, and other site personnel to ensure resources are effectively deployed where needed.
  • Maintain real-time tracking of resource availability and usage, adjusting allocations as necessary to respond to changing conditions.
  • Develop and implement resource management plans and procedures to ensure readiness and efficiency during response efforts.
  • Ensure that all resource management activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff involved in resource management, fostering a collaborative and efficient team environment.
  • Communicate regularly with the Emergency Response Manager and other stakeholders to provide updates on resource status and needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement teams to replenish supplies as needed.
  • Participate in debriefs and after-action reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement in resource management.
  • Remain on-call and ready to mobilize the resource management team in the event of a storm or disaster.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, emergency management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in resource management, logistics, or emergency response, with a focus on disaster recovery.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with experience in managing complex resource allocations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in resource management and logistics software and tools.
  • Ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced environments, especially during emergency response situations.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to oversee multiple resource areas within the site.
