Your day as a Interventional Radiology Procedure Registered Nurse

As a Full Time Interventional Radiology Procedure Registered Nurse at Comprehensive Interventional Care Centers, you will dive into a thrilling role where you'll pre-op patients for procedures by expertly starting IV lines and administering medications. Educating patients and families on pre, intra, and post-procedure care will be second nature to you as you prepare patients in the procedural suite. With a focus on safety and excellence, you'll circulate, assist, sedate, monitor, handle tissue samples, maintain IV access, and respond to contrast reactions with precision. Your keen eye for detail will shine as you administer medications per physician's orders and make valuable recommendations to enhance patient outcomes under the guidance of the physician. Orchestrating seamless patient discharges will be a gratifying part of your day, reflecting our commitment to customer-centric care.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Must have successfully graduated from an approved nursing program
  • RN license in the state(s) position is listed for
  • 3+ years critical care or coronary care experience (preferred) or 2+ years of telemetry experience
  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
  • Skill in data entry with minimal errors
  • Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records
