Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Alarm Technician in Training. This entry-level position is perfect for candidates with a background in low-voltage systems who are eager to develop their skills in the Fire Alarm industry. As an Alarm Technician in Training, you will work under the guidance of experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting alarm systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Setup: Assist in installing alarm systems, including wiring, programming, and testing.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on existing alarm systems.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with alarm systems and related equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including explaining system functions and answering client questions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and service calls.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements.
  • Qualifications
  • Low Voltage Experience: Basic understanding and hands-on experience with low voltage systems is required.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools and equipment used in the installation and maintenance of alarm systems.
  • Problem-solving abilities: Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Customer Focused: Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Detail-oriented: Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to acquire new skills and knowledge in the alarm and security industry.

 

Qualifications

Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

High School Diploma or Equivalent. 

Experience in Low voltage or electrical background.
