Summary: This role is a full-time hourly position that is scheduled Monday thru Friday with core work hours being 8:00am-5:00pm. Varied evening and weekend times could be required depending on the needs of the business.


The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the Finance & Administration Departments, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Human Resources, by helping to ensure all key administrative needs are supported and work is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with company, state, and federal expectations.


RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Assists Human Resources with open enrollment and ongoing healthcare reports.
  • Assists in entering and processing invoices to be paid to vendors
  • Maintains Affordable Care Act information in ADP & coordinates year end reporting
  • Provides support by answering benefit and 401k insurance questions
  • Completes employee verifications
  • Manages Leave of Absences process
  • Supports administration of Unemployment and Workers' Comp process
  • Reconciles benefit premiums monthly
  • Assists with vendor maintenance in the accounting system as needed, including updating W-9 information
  • Ensures insurance terminations/additions have been made in the carrier system and on the bills.
  • Handles bereavement memorial gifts and maternity gifts
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned or required.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS



  • 1-2 years benefits administration experience preferred
  • 1-2 years accounting/finance experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills required including Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and respond to multiple demands and deadlines.
  • The ability to interact well with team members and function in a team environment, but also be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
