Back of House Manager (Hotel Receiving/Purchasing)

If you answered yes to these questions apply today. With two New York properties, the Crosby Street Hotel and The Whitby Hotel and a third, The Warren Street Hotel, opening in 2024, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the Warren Street Hotel opening team.

Reporting to the General Manager and Purchasing Manager the Back of House Manager will:

  • Process requisitions and conduct prompt, thorough, inspection of deliveries to make certain specifications are met.
  • Maintain clean and safe storerooms and issue goods to departments according to their needs.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing Manager on out-of-stock items that must be ordered for delivery, as well as any new items requested by customers.

  • Keep accurate records in all systems and direct end of month inventory.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years relevant experience, in the hospitality or food service industry.
  • Experience and knowledge of purchasing software system preferred.
  • Hotel opening experience preferred.
  • Knowledge in and or experience with 5 Star service standards is preferred.
