Covenant Health Urgent Care is eager to provide top-ranked patient care to South Knoxville communities in a newly constructed, free-standing medical facility in South Knoxville, located at the corner of Chapman Highway and Mountain Grove Drive at 7625 Chapman Highway Knoxville, TN 37920.


Medical Assistants are vital to the success of our clinical teams and crucial to providing fast, friendly, and affordable healthcare at Covenant Health Urgent Care centers. In partnership with Covenant Health, Covenant Health Urgent Care offers state-of-the-art onsite digital X-ray, EKG, and common laboratory assays 7 days per week, 8AM - 8PM.


Job Description

  • Learn and practice advanced skills under the direction of our providers. You are trained and trusted with a wider scope of practice including injections, phlebotomy, EKGs, and orthopedic care.
  • Triage patients, take vital signs, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent care.
  • Apply splints and wound dressings, collect and record the results of laboratory tests, administer oral and injectable medications.
  • Make a difference in our patients' lives every shift.

Requirements:
  • Requirement of a GED or high school diploma
  • Completed a Medical Assistant program and are registered/certified (MA or CMA)
