Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall market research strategy aligned with the company's objectives. Ensure that research activities support strategic decision-making across all levels of the organization.

  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of market researchers, analysts, and support staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.

  • Research Design & Execution: Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of market research studies, including quantitative and qualitative research. Ensure methodological rigor and relevance to business needs.

  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze complex data sets to extract actionable insights and trends. Present findings to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.

  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Provide strategic recommendations based on competitive intelligence and market opportunities.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and sales to ensure alignment of research findings with business strategies and initiatives.

  • Budget Management: Manage the market research budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.

  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external research vendors and consultants.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, Master's, or Ph.D.) preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in market research, with a proven track record of success in a senior management role.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

  • Expertise in a range of market research methodologies, including survey design, focus groups, and data analytics.

  • Proficiency in market research software and tools, such as SPSS, SAS, or similar platforms.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey research findings to diverse audiences.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align research activities with strategic business goals.
