As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing foundations for offshore wind turbines, electrical substations, and port facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior practitioners and project managers throughout all project phases.
  • Analyze geotechnical data to inform foundation design parameters.
  • Perform advanced soil-structure interaction and dynamic analysis using finite element software.
  • Prepare design deliverables and ensure quality control validation.
  • Engage with clients, project teams, and stakeholders both in-person and virtually.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Master's degree or higher in Geotechnical Engineering with a focus on deep foundation design
  • Possess at least 10-years of experience as a geotechnical engineer
  • Hold or have the ability to obtain a Professional Engineering licensure (P.E.) within 12 months of employment.
  • Demonstrate expertise in soil plasticity theories and mechanical behavior under various loading conditions, including static and cyclic loadings
  • Experience in soil-structure interaction and preparing engineering designs and calculations for deep foundations in marine environments
  • Proficient in finite element software such as PLAXIS 2-D and 3-D, SESAM, and/or ABAQUS
  • Effectively interface with cross-disciplinary teams in culturally diverse environments
  • Demonstrate ability to work across multiple time zones
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, MATLAB, or similar for data analysis and process automation.
  • Experience in offshore wind foundation design and analysis, familiarity with offshore codes, is a plus
