PR/Corporate Communications Intern

Time Commitment: 20-32 hours/week


INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW: As a Public Relations/Corporate Communications intern, you will support and be a part of the CP Marketing team. Our team crafts and distributes the Connelly Partners story (who we are, our approach, what makes us distinct) with three key audiences - prospects, clients and employees. On any given day, your responsibilities could range from building media lists, to concepting and drafting pitches to press, to performing conference research, and conducting competitive audits for new business. We’re looking for someone with a ‘can-do’ attitude who’s ready to jump in to learn and grow within the CP Marketing team. 


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: 

  • Conduct research and competitive audits to support PR efforts and New Business needs.
  • Build media lists and concept/draft pitches.
  • Inform CP Marketing team of relevant industry news/updates.
  • Attend meetings with executives across the agency to learn about upcoming campaign launches, thought leadership & new business for agency comms. 
  • Own and update status reports & track agency press coverage. 
  • Support marketing and new business efforts as needed - newsletter content inputs, video assets, social content brainstorms and more.
