Pay Rate: $13-$14/hour, depending on experience


We are seeking motivated college students to assist in the relocation of our esteemed fashion program to a new location. As a Fashion Program Moving Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth transition from our current facility to the new premises. This temporary position offers valuable hands-on experience in project management, logistics, and teamwork within the dynamic field of fashion education.

Responsibilities:

  1. Physical Assistance: Assist in packing and unpacking materials, equipment, and supplies related to the fashion program.
  2. Inventory Management: Help catalog and organize inventory to ensure nothing is lost or damaged during the relocation process.
  3. Space Planning: Work with the relocation team to plan the layout of the new space, considering the needs of faculty, students, and facilities.
  4. Logistics Support: Aid in coordinating transportation and logistics for moving materials and equipment between locations.
  5. Communication: Maintain open communication with team members, providing updates on progress and addressing any challenges that arise.
  6. Problem-Solving: Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and find creative solutions to ensure a seamless transition.
  7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and others during the moving process.
  8. Documentation: Assist in documenting the moving process, including inventory lists, packing procedures, and any incident reports as necessary.
Requirements:
