Pay: $3,000/season

- You believe in the value of athletics as a means to teach and model the principles of fair play, teamwork, good sportsmanship, effort, and self-improvement.
- You have the knowledge and experience to teach volleyball skills, lead practices and conditioning for individuals and a team.
- You are passionate about the area that you are coaching and have knowledge and experience with skills and conditioning related to volleyball skill development.
- You are passionate about volleyball and are eager to develop your students’ love for it too.
- You are professional, responsible, and collaborative with students, families, and colleagues.
- You are able to start immediately.
- You are able to be fully present for the season which includes a weekly commitment of two (2) practices and one (1) game each week. The practices and games will take place in the evenings and on weekends.
WHAT IS THE ROLE?
- Ensure compliance with the rules, regulations, and expectations of the CIF and BACSAC.
- Oversee all practices and games and supervise the athletes in their use of all facilities.
- Responsible for the care, issuing, collection, storage and inventory of all equipment and
uniforms used in the program.
- Submit to the AD a complete, cleared roster of team members and full season schedule.
- Assist in the prevention and care of injuries.
- Follow the appropriate procedures for budget, purchasing, and transportation.
- Ensure that all school disciplinary policies are followed.
- Act as liaison between the school and parents, AD and Leadership.
- Coordinate any banquets, awards or honors with the Athletic Director.
- Maintain a relationship with athletes based on mutual respect and trust.
