We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support the Production Manager. As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the crews and logistics for all received jobs/projects and execution of all work practices necessary to successful completion and ensure the profitability of the job.


Primary support Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, manage, and monitor the Field Crews and clients.
  • Ensure successful completion of all work practices necessary for the job.
  • Monitor and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with purchasing department and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Compile project status reports, create and coordinate project schedules, and identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Contribute to improving operations by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service best practices.
  • Proactively resolve problems before they arise, and problem solve when they do.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Serve as point of contact when there are customer concerns related to job quality and services provided.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize short/long term tasks and objectives.
  • Execution of the following plans:
  1. Labor/Customer Schedule
  2. Logistics
  3. Material order submissions

Requirements:

Skills and Competencies:

  • Sound decision making that supports the company’s objectives.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate well with outside customers and installers as well as all levels of internal management and coworkers.

  • Ability to defuse issues using de-escalation and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to balance workload and prioritize in a fast-paced environment to meet predetermined deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Knowledge of standard interior commercial construction practices a plus.

Career Experience:

A minimum of 3 years construction/field crew management.
