The project manager oversees all aspects of construction, industrial and municipal projects. Applicant must have strong communication skills with prior construction management or engineering experience. Candidate will oversee organization, administration, and coordination of elements involved in the life of a construction project. Applicant must possess leadership and computer skills with an ability to oversee and manage field operations and crews, as well as have the organizational skills to set accurate timelines and tracking for all active projects, while preparing scheduling for upcoming work. 

 

Key Qualities for the job:

  • Ability to travel as needed to check on projects, field teams or customers.
  • Extremely safety conscious and serve as an example to crew members
  • Organized, detailed oriented and possess excellent time management and Microsoft Office skills
  • Minimum of 5 years Construction Management Experience
  • Experience around pipeline replacement or rehabilitation a plus


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project take offs/submittals/contract reviews/sub agreements/Profit and Loss/Approving Field Logs
  • Works directly with Operations Manger on Scheduling people/equipment/material/subs on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Manage all cost tracking and revenue reporting/forecasting for the Project
  • Schedule Prepare/Tie-In with Contractor Schedules
  • Pre- Planning and Resource forecasting and inventory management
  • Work with Management for all major equipment/supply purchases
  • Attend Construction Planning Meetings and Project/Site Walks
  • Assist in Quality Control and Safety of all Projects
  • Provide Job Site Assistance to manage field operations
  • Complete projects on schedule, within the allotted budget, and in accordance with QAQC standards
  • Review all required reporting/collection of time and daily report logs (From Operations/Superintendents)
  • Review/Approve/Submit to Management all vendor and customer invoices, checking items, project info, dates, rates, etc.


Experience/Education:

  • Construction Management background
  • Construction Management or Engineering Degree preferred, however not required if experienced.
  • Experience with pipeline rehabilitation and/or construction preferred.
