About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Product Analyst to join our healthcare Data & Analytics team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the discovery and requirements gathering process for analytics solutions developed by our enterprise data warehousing and BI development resources. This role involves collaboration with key stakeholders, gathering technical requirements, and ensuring best practices throughout the development, testing, and implementation phases. This role requires a deep understanding of business intelligence products and deliverables, strong analytical capabilities, and exceptional communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with end-users and ensure the successful translation of business needs into technical specifications.

The Details:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Gathering and analyzing business requirements to ensure existing products meet evolving needs and objectives
  • Defining scope, objectives, and timelines for net new analytical solutions
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders and teams to understand business needs and objectives
  • Hosting discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements for new analytics
  • Creating comprehensive documentation mapping and transforming data to meet Power BI model requirements
  • Advising on the desired user experience and functionalities of reports, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications for BI developers
  • Ensuring data warehouse development teams understand the data needs for BI deliverables
  • Facilitating an agile and iterative development cycle, ensuring consistent stakeholder engagement and feedback
  • Partnering with BI report developers and QA to identify, extract, and validate data from diverse sources, as well as advising on data structures and elements within those structures to enable BI solution build
  • Partnering with BI report QA and end-users on efficient and effective testing phases; ensuring test plans are in place and managing the validation and UAT processes
  • Conducting roll-out activities, user training sessions, creating educational materials, and supporting ongoing user engagement
  • Creating and maintaining documentation, including knowledge bases and metrics & methodologies to support the effective use of analytical products
  • Providing production support and triaging BI product issues or feedback ensuring timely resolution
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in data analytics, contributing to the advancement of analytical capabilities within the organization

Knowledge:
