Position Overview:

The Project Manager Expert collaborates closely with Business Units and external stakeholders to strategize, organize, and execute initiatives within the framework. Utilizing a variety of project management methodologies, the Project Manager ensures the successful implementation of enterprise change management strategies and the attainment of project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project artifacts including project plans, schedules, and documentation.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather feedback, requirements, and insights.
• Conduct Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions to foster collaboration and consensus among stakeholders.
• Track and report project status to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders and provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues.
• Manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Maintain project scope and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Drive enterprise change management efforts to prepare and support stakeholders in adapting to changes in business processes, systems, and organization structures.
• Develop project business cases outlining the rationale, benefits, and ROI of proposed initiatives.
• Perform additional project management tasks as required to support project success.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 84 months of experience in project management, demonstrating proficiency across various delivery methodologies including predictive, iterative, incremental, and agile.
• At least 60 months of experience facilitating meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, business users, and developers.
• 36 months of experience in developing and executing Enterprise Change Management strategies, plans, and activities.
• 48 months of experience working collaboratively with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
• Proven ability to evaluate business processes, identify areas for improvement, and lead elicitation sessions using diverse information gathering methods.
• Strong skills in creating reports, presentations, and business cases, and presenting information to leadership and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with establishing PMO standards, processes, and internal controls, including knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
• 24 months of experience using the ServiceNow Project module.
• Experience working within the State Government context is preferred.
