The Bottling and Packaging Supervisor/ Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bottling and packaging unit at Middle West Spirits, LLC (MWS). The successful candidate will plan, schedule, strategize and oversee all bottling and packaging activities while ensuring quality and compliance.


  • Execute the bottling and packaging planning based on marketing, raw materials and supplies, manpower, and equipment capacity. Meet specifications of product quality at all times.
  • Supervise a team of bottling and packaging technicians: Hire and direct staff, train on SOPs, oversee performance management process, and set team up for success.
  • Responsible for enforcing all safety procedures and SOPs.
  • Responsible for maintenance of equipment and machinery on bottling line.
  • Collaborate weekly/daily with MWS Leadership and business units regarding all bottling and packaging deliverables: Senior Management, Marketing and Sales, Project Management and Warehouse. Report to departmental head about progress, issues, correction action status and planned projects.
  • Maintain all packaging records, protocols, and prepares reports required by team leadership.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience running a bottling or canning line preferred

• Experience operating industrial equipment

• Demonstrated ability to work quickly and effectively in demanding

situations

• Strong planning and organizational skills

• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

• Experience operating a forklift

• Must be 21 years or older and able to lift 50 pounds


Preferred knowledge and skills:

  • Solid writing skills with strong leadership qualities.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of computer programs.
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Strong ability to lead and motivate people and deal appropriately with and difficult situations, as well as a good awareness of current employment relation laws.

Schedule; M- F, on-site, 7 am - 4 pm. FLSA: Exempt
