Position Summary

Lift Solutions Holdings is a provider of end-to-end industrial lifting solutions. Our offerings include overhead crane equipment, OSHA mandated inspections, repairs, aftermarket parts, services, a variety of rigging, and other lifting equipment. We are looking for an experienced Director of FP&A to join our growing team.

This person will be a crucial member of our finance leadership team and will lead the FP&A function for the company, reporting directly to the CFO. The position offers high-visibility creating a great opportunity for someone looking to make an impact across the entire organization including visibility and collaboration directly with our C-suite and private equity owners. Candidates that thrive in fast-paced, high-demand environments and have experience juggling multiple priorities while maintaining deadlines would be good fits for this role. The Director of FP&A will be a crucial part of delivering on the Finance’s strategic initiative which is to deliverable actionable and timely business intelligence to enable decision-making and accountability here at Lift Solutions.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning: Lead and own the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial planning processes, including annual budgets, long-range 3-5 year plans, and monthly forecasts.
  • Financial Analysis / Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, evaluate business opportunities, and assess financial performance. Manage adhoc requests from the organization including prioritizing competing requests.
  • Reporting: Lead and own all reporting functions within the organization including internal financial and operational reporting, external reporting for our board and private equity ownership, and external lender reporting.
  • Leadership: Lead growing team (currently one FP&A analyst) and partner with CFO to build out a best-in-class FP&A/Finance function.
  • Performance / KPI Management: Measure, maintain, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor business performance, analyze variances, and provide insights to management.
  • Strategic Support/ Business Partnering: Partner with regional leaders and cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and operational improvements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Drive operational, reporting, and business improvement through collaboration or project work with other departments (E.g., partner with IT to build data lakehouse).
  • Acquisition support: Support leadership with future acquisition due diligence and integration as needed.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and/or Tableau is a must. Experience with EPM tools such as Planful is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving business performance and influencing decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Must have worked for at least one PE-owned business.
