Position Summary

This Sales Development Representative will work closely with sales leadership and marketing to identify and build relationships within targeted accounts to generate meetings for our Regional Sales Directors.

Your Contribution: (roles and responsibilities)

  • Partner closely with our Rekor national Account Executives to generate new business meetings and qualify sales pipeline by phone
  • Liaison to sales team as internal sales advocate first point of contact between prospects and Regional Sales
  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns to identify qualified leads
  • Qualify inbound leads to ensure aligned with our product market
  • Proactively manage communications with prospective customers across multiple verticals with clear understanding of Rekor’s solutions and value proposition; Educate targeted accounts with our capabilities and benefits to meet their business needs
  • Leverage Salesforce (CM) to manage and track the lead pipeline, communications activity, and customer meetings; prepare target lists for cold calling, maintain prospect data, keep notes and call logs
  • Prospect organizations to identify new business opportunities
  • Prioritize accounts within a defined territory
  • Schedule onsite/virtual meetings for Regional Sales Directors.
  • Building credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders
  • Learning how to anticipate and prepare for objection

  • BS Degree preferred with 1 + yr professional sales experience
  • Sales and ‘Customer First’ mindset

  • Works well independently and collaborates with diverse sales team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized, strong time-management, and prioritization skills
  • Thrives under pressure and the ability to achieve deadlines and goals
  • Coachable to learn, results-driven
  • Prefer based in the Maryland metro area
