Job Summary

The Data Analyst will develop and revise foundational data service processes, create reports and dashboards, analyze field data and make strategic business decisions. The Data Analyst will participate in service initiatives to develop and expand aftermarket capabilities to further the evolution of connectivity between owner / operator and aircraft, as well as support other data service opportunities (Aircraft WiFi, App Connections, Maintenance Programs, etc.). This person will collaborate with engineers, customer experience team, and IT data scientists to better understand data analysis needs, gain insights, and visually display them to inform decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Responsible for data service processes including administration tasks, managing data, and strategic business planning
  • Optimize data services processes and report outs to facilitate further development
  • Create standard operating procedures for processes and report outs
  • Gathers, manipulates, analyzes, and translates field data from multiple sources
  • Identifies cross-functional opportunities for continual updating of Cirrus Aircraft policies and procedures and appropriate ways to communicate with team and partners
  • Participates in service analysis needs and data reporting as required for continued progress on service offerings
  • Assists in creation and maintenance of service documents, contracts, and procedures
  • Work independently and have self-initiative, and be able to communicate findings effectively
  • Collaborate with other project teams on a consistent basis to maintain cohesiveness within the company
  • Consistently exhibits exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers, while demonstrating Cirrus Aircraft’s mission, vision, values, and the Steps of Service
  • Brings forward ideas from self or group on next steps for continued progress for better business systems that promote enhanced customer satisfaction
  • Other duties as required or assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • One to three years’ experience with data, analysis and/or business applications related work
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (Microsoft PowerBI) software preferred
  • Experience with aircraft systems encouraged
