  • Onboarding/Offboarding
  • Employee Relations (Employees)
  • LOA Administration
  • HRIS Super User

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Manage onboarding process for all new employees including systems set up and company orientation. Monitor, track and measure the onboarding process to ensure timely and effective implementation.
  • Partner with Payroll and Benefits Administrator on employee updates within HRIS: employment status changes, department transfers, manager transitions, and compensation changes.
  • Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from database.
  • Provide support and guidance to employees on company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively interpret and administer Leave of Absence: Paid Parental Leave, FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD and Workers Comp.
  • Workers’ compensation: participate during injury in-take meetings, provide guidance and recommendations to managers on safety improvements. Monitor, track, and measure patterns and elevate concerns to Director of People and Culture.
  • Utilize HR best practices during employee relations discussions and investigations.
  • Keep pulse of company culture and surface issues.
  • Offboarding: Conduct employee exit interviews, ensure compliance with exit process and terminations within HRIS.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of human resources experience including employee relations.
  • Understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations relating to key areas of responsibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to communicate within all levels within the organization.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for working with people and creating a positive employee experience.
  • Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and demonstrated flexibility and willingness to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Manage time effectively and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn HRIS – Paylocity preferred.
