- Onboarding/Offboarding
- Employee Relations (Employees)
- LOA Administration
- HRIS Super User
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Manage onboarding process for all new employees including systems set up and company orientation. Monitor, track and measure the onboarding process to ensure timely and effective implementation.
- Partner with Payroll and Benefits Administrator on employee updates within HRIS: employment status changes, department transfers, manager transitions, and compensation changes.
- Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from database.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on company policies and procedures.
- Effectively interpret and administer Leave of Absence: Paid Parental Leave, FMLA, ADA, STD, LTD and Workers Comp.
- Workers’ compensation: participate during injury in-take meetings, provide guidance and recommendations to managers on safety improvements. Monitor, track, and measure patterns and elevate concerns to Director of People and Culture.
- Utilize HR best practices during employee relations discussions and investigations.
- Keep pulse of company culture and surface issues.
- Offboarding: Conduct employee exit interviews, ensure compliance with exit process and terminations within HRIS.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of human resources experience including employee relations.
- Understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations relating to key areas of responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to communicate within all levels within the organization.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with people and creating a positive employee experience.
- Ability to work with a high degree of self-direction and demonstrated flexibility and willingness to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
- Manage time effectively and proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn HRIS – Paylocity preferred.
