Job Description:

  • Assist clients in developing problem solving skills to help them carry out the requirements of everyday living
  • Assist clients in developing activities and behaviors to support sustained recovery
  • Assure that all services are documented properly and in a timely manner

Education/Skills:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be in sustained recovery from a substance use disorder and involved in a 12 step recovery program for a minimum of two years
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated awareness of local community support groups and resources
  • Physically able to perform job functions including prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
