Role Overview:
As a Tax Manager, you will take a leadership role in our tax practice, guiding and mentoring the tax team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to our clients. You will work closely with our partners and the interim Tax Manager to drive the growth of our tax services, with a particular focus on non-profits (40% of our clients are non-profits, including various 501c entities). This role offers a clear path to partnership for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the preparation and review of complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and non-profits.
- Provide strategic tax planning and compliance advice to clients across various industries.
- Lead and mentor the tax team, including Tax Seniors, to ensure their professional development.
- Collaborate with partners on business development and client relationship management.
- Oversee audit-related tasks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in and drive new client proposals, with 1-3 proposals per month.
Ideal Candidate:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Tax Manager, with a CPA license required.
- Strong expertise in non-profit tax regulations and requirements.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client service skills.
