Private Client Tax Manager

As a Private Client Tax Manager at Forvis, you will play a critical role in providing sophisticated tax compliance, consulting, and planning services to high net worth individuals, families, and fiduciaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, trusts, estates, and private foundations
  • Develop and maintain client relationships through the proposal process
  • Participate in networking activities to expand business opportunities and client relationships
  • Maintain functional expertise and understanding of client business or family structures to address client concerns and challenges
  • Assist in managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff
  • Review and manage projects prepared by tax associates and seniors
  • Effectively delegate responsibilities to others and monitor engagement team efforts
  • Proficiently use technology tools in regular assignments and demonstrate a commitment to improving work processes
  • Research complex tax issues, apply findings to projects, and clearly communicate those findings in writing
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of related experience in public accounting, law firm, or trust department
  • Bachelor or graduate degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • CPA license or J.D. degree and bar admission
  • Experience managing multiple client engagements
