As an Outside Sales Representative at Kinkelder, you will be instrumental in promoting and selling our exceptional range of TCT and HSS saw blades and other metal cutting products to new and existing customers. Your role involves understanding the unique production requirements of our customers and effectively communicating the technical advantages of our products and services. This position requires a deep knowledge of metal-cutting processes and the ability to establish strong relationships with clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with existing clients within the sales market area.

· Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

· Grow sales through identification and engagement of new potential clients within the tube and pipe, forging, and steel service center sectors.

· Collaborate closely with client decision makers and operations personnel to determine their specific metal-cutting requirements and challenges.

· Work in tandem with the Kinkelder technical team to conduct demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the advantages of Kinkelder's products.

· Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery requirements.

· Promote companion products and services to maximize revenues with existing and new clients.

· Provide monthly forecasting of anticipated customer purchases to Kinkelder production and planning teams.

· Provide regular updates of sales pipeline projects as required.

· Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.

· Demonstrate independence in role and confidence in decision-making.

· Meet all company policies, procedures, and instructions.

· Other projects and tasks as assigned by National Sales Manager or Business Development Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field preferred, or equivalent industry work experience.

· Proven experience in outside sales, with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

· Detail oriented with ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously.

· Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand technical manufacturing concepts.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with ability to quickly learn new technologies, including CRM systems to support sales.

· Willingness to travel up to 75% for client meetings and product demonstrations.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

· National travel required with overnights (up to 75-100 overnights per year).

· Primary market areas responsible may include, but are not limited to, the following states: IL, IN, OH, PA, TN, AR, MO, TX, and OK.

· Company vehicle, computer and phone provided.

· Competitive salary and uncapped commission structure.
