Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at [Roofing
Company Name]. As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing our companys
financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards.
Your expertise will help us make informed business decisions, optimize financial performance,
and drive growth.


Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and
cash flow statements.
- Perform month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and
financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, as needed.
- Perform other accounting duties, as required.

Requirements:


- Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction or roofing industry.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software, such as MS Excel, QuickBooks Job Nimbus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
