Job DescriptionJob Description

Job Responsibility: Sell large format technical and graphics printers to both existing and new customers. Consult with prospects on the benefits of purchasing their next printer from Metro-Repro. Travel to customer locations for meetings and conduct site inspections for installation of new equipment. Interact directly with the customers and effectively communicate matters regarding service contracts and necessary supplies required to operate their new or proposed printer. Expansive territory will require travel, with some overnight possible. Sales Rep must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Experience with sales of large format printers/plotter equipment is preferred. New hire training will consist of both in house instruction and manufacturer sales classes. Position is salary plus generous commission.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Sales Experience of 3+ years.
  • Track record of proven sales successes and ability to close.
  • Large format printers and/or plotter knowledge.
  • Mutoh, Mimaki, Canon or HP knowledge of technical or graphic printers a plus.
  • Experience with a CRM and pipeline processes necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the customer in a user-friendly language.
  • Knowledge of printing process in a CAD or Design Graphics environment helpful.
  • Ability to self-manage prospecting, time and travel.
  • Willingness to travel to sales equipment certification/training as needed
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Strong and effective decision-making skills needed to prioritize workload.
