In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide a team of skilled developers who build and support a specific application. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining, enhancing, and modernizing mainframe applications, ensuring they continue to seamlessly support our critical business functions. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate across Product, Distributed, and Quality Engineering teams
  • Lead development by planning resources, skills, and processes for project success
  • Ensure on-time, high-quality code delivery within budget
  • Manage and plan resources effectively
  • Champion software development best practices and ensure adherence to processes
  • Facilitate code releases and support testing efforts

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or another related field
  • 10+ years related experience
  • 5 years of related experience in a management capacity
  • Knowledge of Unisys Clearpath MCP Systems, secure development practices, and SDLC
  • Experience with COBOL, ALGOL, and Workflow Language (WFL) with corresponding ability to develop solutions on a Unisys Clearpath MCP mainframe environment
  • Experience with Unisys Clearpath MCP Development Environment- System/Editor, CANDE, NX/Webstation (WebEnabler), NX/Services, Programmer’s Workbench
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
