An industry leader in mining has a great opportunity in Southern California for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic. Flights, motel accommodations, and daily meal per diem is provided.
This role is ideal for those wanting to work good hours and overtime. The ideal mechanic will have experience working on large excavators, dozers, loaders, and other pieces of surface mining related equipment. This role will involve major component repair & exchange, hydraulic & electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Compensation:
- $32 to $49/hour to start.

- Vacation accrual, sick time, and paid holidays
- Company will cover flights, local motel accommodations, and a $40 daily meal per diem.
Multiple Rotations available:
- 2 weeks on 1 week off (7 day shifts, 24 hours off, 7 night shifts)
- 3 weeks on 1 week off (7 day shifts, 24 hours off, 7 night shifts, 24 hours off, 7 day shifts)
- 12 hour shifts, 6:00am - 6:30pm for Days, and 6:00pm - 6:30am for Nights
- OT after 8 hours a day/40 a week
