Expanding Accounting firm located in Nassau County seeks a Staff Accountant for a FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION.

Responsibilities include Preparation of:

· Financial Statements

· Corporate and Partnership Tax Returns

· Personal Income Tax Returns

· Quarterly Payroll Tax Returns

· Monthly and Quarterly Sales Tax Returns

· Handling tax notices through to resolution, including correspondence with the IRS and state taxing authorities.

Applicant must possess:

· Excellent communication skills for this position includes direct client contact

· Computer & Multi-tasking skills

· Advanced experience working with Excel and QuickBooks

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· 3+ Years Experience

Experience with the following a plus:

· Lacerate Tax Software

· QuickBooks Online
