Aegis has openings with a client for Tool & Die Makers with a client in Chicago (60660). This person will need to train on DAY shift for 90 days and then available to move into 2nd or 3rd Shift. OFF shift offers a shift differential as well. Please apply if you meet the below qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 - 10+ years Journeyman Experience as a Tool & Die Maker (Certified)
  • Capable of operating manual Tool Room machinery
  • Experience with high speed stamping dies; high precision production environment
  • Knowledgeable of good safety practices and quality standards
  • Excellent Math skills (trigonometry)
  • Lamination and carbide experience- plus
  • Capable of servicing, maintaining, and repairing carbide lamination tooling- plus
  • Experience with lean manufacturing- plus
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Must be able and comfortable to work in a heavy-industrial environment
