We are currently seeking a skilled Fourslide Tool & Die Maker to join our team at Technical People in Chicago, IL.

This is a first shift role that requires a minimum of one year of apprenticeship experience in fourslide tool & die making.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct multistation blank-through, parting, and chop-off progressive dies for metal stamping fourslides
  • Review and build detailed components of progressive dies from CAD drawings
  • Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements for tooling longevity
  • Assist in evaluating press and secondary cycle times as well as tooling costs
  • This is a first shift role

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Entry level tool & die metal stamping apprenticeship experience
  • Preference for Fourslide experience

Compensation:

This position offers an hourly base salary ranging from $24.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience
