Job Description: We are seeking an operator who loves their products to join us as a Product and Demo Specialist. This role is perfect for a current vacuum excavation and combo sewer jetter operator looking to transition into a sales demo and training position. As a Product and Demo Specialist, you will educate new customers on product capabilities and ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment. This role requires frequent travel throughout Georgia and the Carolinas.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a CDL and adhere to DOT regulations.
Provide field training and consultation on vacuum excavators and sewer-jetter trucks.
Conduct equipment demonstrations, ensuring proper setup and usage.
Promote and reinforce Vacutek's image as a total solutions provider.
Collaborate with sales, parts, and service teams on complex problems.
Promote service programs, machine maintenance, repair programs, and inspection services.
Assist with developing sales aids and documentation to support company objectives.
Resolve customer issues with effective suggestions and support.
Follow all safety rules and regulations and adhere to company policies.
Qualifications:
CDL required with current operating experience in vacuum excavation and combo sewer jetters.
Strong knowledge of truck vacs and vacuum excavation equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct equipment walkarounds and clearly explain product features and benefits.
Motivated, reliable, and adaptable to various customer and team dynamics.
Sales skills and the ability to build strong business relationships.
