Job Summary:

Spector Gadon Rosen Vinci P.C., a 30-attorney law firm based in Center City Philadelphia, is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to work for its Insurance Defense Group at its Philadelphia headquarters. Now in its 50th year of client service, our award-winning law firm is a community partner in the Philadelphia region with a dynamic team of entrepreneurial attorneys.

 

Qualifications:

  • Heavy calendaring (docketing) in Outlook – depositions, court hearings, deadlines, etc.
  • E-filing experience in PA and NJ required- federal and state.
  • Deposition set up, noticing, scheduling court reporters, daily follow up and providers to obtain transcripts, medical records etc.
  • Obtain information required to comply with subpoenas, request for production of documents, or other forms of pretrial discovery.
  • Redaction/Bates Stamping
  • Significant document management experience.
  • Ensure timely responses to legal notices and subpoenas.
  • Prepare, analyze, and proofread summaries of documents and other records.
  • Preform legal and non-legal research in litigation matters.
  • Prepare medical chronologies.
  • Maintain case management system assisting attorneys with organization and maintenance of documents.
  • Assist attorneys with trial and deposition preparation.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

Key Competencies:

  • Experience using iManage or similar document management system.
  • Westlaw and Relativity experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

Education & Experience:

  • 5+ years’ work experience at a law firm or legal environment.
  • Certification from accredited paralegal program (preferred).
  • EOE
