Job Summary: As a Roofer at BRS, you will work on a variety of roofing projects, handling different types of roofing materials and installations. You will need to be adaptable, work in various weather conditions, lift heavy objects, and read and assess technical drawings accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Roof replacement and restoration experience required.
- Experience with materials and systems including EPDM, TPO, PVC, slate, and metals.
- Replace and restore membranes and metal flashings as needed.
- Conduct detailed surveys leading to repair work, including identifying deficiencies and making spot repairs.
Trade Requirements / Proficiencies:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the roofing trade, with at least 2 years in repair and restoration.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- DOT Card and a clean driving record.
- OSHA Certification.
- Proficiency with power tools and equipment.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly rate: $30-$50/hour, commensurate with experience.
- Annual discretionary bonus.
