CT Technologist
Location: Sacramento, CA 95819
Shift: 4 by 10 schedule, 8PM start, M-Th + required call
Employment Type: Contract

The primary responsibility of a CT Technologist is to ensure physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting the orders provided by the physician or other prescribing medical professional
  • Explaining what will happen during the CT scan to patients
  • Positioning patients properly to take the necessary images
  • Administering IVs that contain contrast dyes to enhance imaging
  • Examining images to ensure they’re usable
  • Updating patient medical information
  • Cleaning and maintaining CT scan equipment
  • Keeping inventory of CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required



Qualifications:

Experience: 2-years of recent hospital/acute experience
License/Certifications: BLS (under American Heart Association), Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R), Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT), California Rad Tech license, Fluoro
