Job Title: CT Technologist

Sutter Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Sacramento, California.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized computerized tomography and x-ray procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:
  • Competently perform CT and x-ray procedures to produce accurate images for diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of injury or disease.
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures.
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through effective communication and patient assessment.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety.
  • May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
  • RHF-Radiology Fluoroscopy within 180 days of hire if required at the affiliate.
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • General knowledge of diagnostic computerized tomography principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform routine CT examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences.
  • Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including prioritizing assignments and working within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods.
  • General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and related information systems.
Benefits:

Sutter Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive pay, health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Pay Range: $58.30 to $72.87 per hour.

This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.

Compensation takes into account several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs.
