You will be a key member of the project team currently working on an ERP Consolidation project to deliver a seamless integration of Salesforce with our future state Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
In this strategic role, you will enable new capabilities such as Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) and B2B Commerce, shaping the future of our digital experience. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing processes utilizing the Salesforce platform, increasing user adoption, and driving best practices.
The Senior Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, effectively communicating and prioritizing initiatives, and managing all aspects involving the Salesforce Platform. The ideal candidate will thrive in liaising with stakeholders at all levels, possessing the ability to translate technical information into layman's terms and clearly explain design options and their potential impact.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute Salesforce configuration changes, including flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
- Drive end-user training, adoption, and change management initiatives for Salesforce.
- Act as the Product Owner for CRM, and future CPQ, and Commerce implementations, managing the product backlog and prioritizing user stories including for the ERP Consolidation project started in 2024.
- Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, Organization Wide Defaults, and sharing rules.
- Possess an understanding of basic triggers, Apex code knowledge, Sales Cloud Einstein, Data Cloud, and Tableau CRM.
- Manage Sandbox environments and DevOps/release management processes.
- Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience.
- Identify and recommend improvements for unused or underutilized platform features.
- Create a platform roadmap, define priorities, and liaise with stakeholders.
- Communicate platform changes to end-users and stakeholders effectively.
- Implement data management strategies to improve Salesforce data quality, including rules and automation.
- Perform proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Checks, and Optimizer.
- Manage user support tickets and monitor user adoption.
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Manage integrated applications and third-party suppliers, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, D&B Connect, Vision e Scan, and DocuSign.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends, and recommend improvements or enhancements to maximize the platform's value by being active in the community and attending local and national salesforce events as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or a business-related field.
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing Salesforce instances.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification is required; additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security best practices.
- Experience with Salesforce integrations, particularly with Microsoft Dynamics ERP, is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Engineer-to-Order (ETO) B2B sales models is desirable but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
