Accounts Receivable Specialist
Lakeside, CA
Direct Hire
Pay upwards of $33.00 an hour


Construction Residential Design and Remodeling company with an office in Lakeside, CA is seeking an experienced AR Specialist who knows their way around Sage or buildertrend software and can work effectively in a team environment.

And the best part? We're offering flexible hourly pay upwards of $32 with full benefits, a bonus, and a 401k contribution of a whopping 15% of your earnings every year Plus, you'll be working with an amazing team of project managers and other professionals who are just as passionate as you are.

Invoicing and Billing:

  • Prepare and send out invoices to customers.
  • Ensure invoices are accurate and reflect the correct amounts for goods or services provided.


Payment Collection:

  • Follow up with customers on outstanding payments.
  • Implement strategies to collect overdue payments.
  • Record and process incoming payments, whether they are made by cash, check, credit card, or electronic transfer.

Customer Account Management:

  • Maintain and update customer records.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues with customer accounts.
  • Communicate with customers regarding their accounts, answering queries and providing necessary information.


Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.


Reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports on the status of accounts receivable.
  • Provide analysis on receivables aging and trends to management.


Compliance and Record-Keeping:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing issues.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure proper financial reporting and controls.


Credit Management:

  • Assess the creditworthiness of customers.
  • Set credit limits and terms for new and existing customers.
