We are currently seeking a skilled and highly motivated individual to join our Sarasota team as a Grounds Light Maintenance Specialist. Our maintenance team currently services properties located in North Port, Englewood, Venice and Sarasota.

GROUNDS LIGHT MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST (Job #24-GRLM-02)

This position is full-time position, estimated Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week. Work with the maintenance and onsite team performing general grounds works (Grounds work - watering lawns/flowers, snow removal, work associated with general common area upkeep of grounds, pool, and grilling areas to maintain curb appeal including painting, etc. In addition, perform general light Maintenance Specialist duties to assist in maintaining the physical aspects of our Apartment Communities located in the Sarasota County area.

This is a great way to gain experience and learn some job functions within the trades. Candidates who are highly motivated, self-starters, and who have retail or property management experience, or comparable skills, along with a successful track record of providing excellent customer service are encouraged to apply. These positions will work as an integral part of the Property Management team to ensure the success of the properties. Requirements:

  • HS diploma/GED preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in apartment/commercial related maintenance preferred (comparable experience considered)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent walking, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling capabilities.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-pace & provide excellent customer service.
  • A valid driving license with a clean driving record and vehicle is required.
