Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the financial health and growth of our organization. Fluency in Mandarin is essential for this role, as it involves frequent communication with our suppliers and partners in China.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and financial transactions.

- Prepare and submit tax filings and ensure timely payment of taxes.

- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.

- Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

- Communicate effectively with suppliers and partners in China, ensuring smooth financial transactions and reporting.

- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and financial regulations.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.

- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- High attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- **Must be fluent in Mandarin (both written and spoken).**
