We are hiring for Fire Alarm Technicians Project is located in the Nashville Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and programing of new fire alarm panels
  • Installation of strobes and other fire alarm fixtures
  • Installation of cabling pathways when needed (J-Hooks, conduits, etc.)
  • Ability to work with 110V and 12V circuitry
  • Some CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Protection knowledge
  • Testing and troubleshooting of all systems
  • Follow troubleshooting guidelines and refer to technical/parts manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc. in order to diagnose & repair equipment or systems.
  • Experience with controls is not required but an added plus

Qualifications:

  • Must be knowledgeable in Fire Alarm, Security Systems and other IP technologies
  • Previous work with medium & low voltage applications in a commercial setting
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experienced in the operation of scissor and boom lifts
  • Industry Certifications preferred but not required
