Dental and Medical Insurance Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Financial Coordinator to join our team. JNT Dental prides itself on being a uniquely small medical practice specializing in TMD and Craniofacial Pain treatment. Working with a tight knit team of individuals to offer our patients the most outstanding medical care, treatment, and pain relief is the pride of our organization. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in medical/dental insurance to join our family and help us provide our patients with peace of mind.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost analysis for patients in a dental clinic, using medical and dental insurance
- Determine financial benefits for patients in a dental office
- Research and assess codes to best be used for insurance claims
- Process EOBs and help patients determine coverage benefits
- Make yourself available to recalculate financial arrangements as needed
- Contact patients when pre-authorization is received and proceed with scheduling
- Call on outstanding treatment plans
- Develop skills to type, edit, and explain SOAP Reports, Progress Reports, Insurance Benefits Reports, etc.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Dental and Medical claims processing required
- Well developed customer service skills
- Advanced spreadsheet skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EagleSoft, DentalWriter, Vine Dental and Apex preferred
