Our organization (Price Family Dealerships) spans across 20 auto manufacturers brands at 13 locations throughout the Bay Area.

  • The Lot Porter assists both the Sales and Service Departments in maintaining the new and used car lots, and in transporting vehicles to appropriate departments for service and inventory control.
  • Parks vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of Sales to ensure that the lot is attractive to potential buyers.
  • Supports the Service Department, parking cars, helping keep the shop clean, driving customers to their destinations locally, etc., as tasked by the Service Director.
  • Clean and maintain entire lot for new, used and service departments.
  • Assist Sales and Service Staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operations.
  • Ensures cleanliness of all vehicles.
  • Responsible for adding and maintaining key tags and window stickers on all lot vehicles.
  • Drives vehicles to other dealerships for 'dealer swaps' or to other vendors as requested.
  • May pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles.

Training will be provided.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Driver's License

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Clean Background Check

 

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Safely work with team to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 100 pounds. Stand, walk or sit for long periods of time without resting. Ability to perform routine kneeling, crouching or crawling. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
