Part-Time Utility Porter Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Utility Porter. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties, contributing to a positive experience for tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning restrooms.
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
  • Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including changing light fixtures and removing graffiti.
  • Inspect public areas regularly to identify any necessary cleaning or maintenance needs.
  • Utilize hand tools effectively, including an electric saw, for various tasks as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, as well as perform tasks requiring lifting and carrying.
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned properties.
